Greetings,

I am using an Ipod Touch 2nd Generation that is running IPhone OS 3.0. The iBattery Pro application is not providing details for Internet (WiFi) or Standby status. I have WiFi enabled and use it frequently. It is the main reason I wanted to monitor battery usage with this program. I would also like to be able to monitor the Standby usage as well. When I go into the settings area there is no configuration options to enable this.

Please advise if this can be corrected.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

the "problem" of iPod Touch is that Apple is only coming with official battery life times for Audio and Video.
We already made a series of tetss with different devices to get a battery life for iPod Touch devices with WiFi as well. I posted an update to the App Store two days ago but as you might have noticed, Apple is very slow on approving applications these days. They also have changes in policy which already kicked a lot of prodcuts out of the store because they couldn't update.

Well let's hope that this might not happen with iBattery Pro. I Apple has regular approvment times, the update will be out hopefully in 3-4 days.

You might want to subscribe our "New Products & Updates" newsletter to be informed when the new update is available.

Best regards,

Helmut

David,

there's now an update in the App Store which adds the missing display of the WiFi connection for iPod Touch.

Best,
Helmut
